Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler came in the year 1990 when she was only 19 years old when she was awarded the Grammy award in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. It was a remarkable feat and not only because Krauss was young, however, I've Got That Old Feeling was the 3rd album in her library. Her first effort, Too Late to Cry which was released at the time that the Champaign, Illinois, native was 16years old. She had been signed to Rounder Records, one of the most respected folk music labels on the market--at the age of 14. The accomplishments of Krauss at this young age, and as well as her virtuosity, have been consistently matched by her ability to maintained her devotion to bluegrass, one of the country's oldest as well as least-appreciated genres of music. Krauss was a mature music producer and musician, having developed from a teenage star. Alison Alison Alison
