Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning program "New Day" and Westport, CT resident, has been elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse. The three decades she has spent in journalism have included stories across the country and in other countries. Additionally, she has won her the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone, of Stamford was appointed as an honorary trustee in recognition of her time on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport was elected chair of the board following having served on the Board from 2013. Czekaj-Farber replaces Barbara Streicker of Westport, who has been the chair of the board since October 15, 2015, and continues to be a member of the board since 2006.
