Carey is a former top fashion model who stands at nearly 5'10" was well-liked by American fashion houses like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. In 1979, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists voted her father Scientist of The Year. As a result of his work, Carey has been raised across the world. When she was a student at in the University of Colorado, Carey started modeling for a side. An agent from Ford's model agency located in New York noticed her and asked for help. The model lived in France for a short time, including Paris as well as Bordeaux. She then returned home to New York for her college studies and to further develop her career as a model. In between modeling assignments, she studied literary studies full-time at New York University. In New York she began to pursue acting. In 1986 she had her first role in acting as a small part in Club Paradise, with Robin Williams. Skiing, white water rafting and rock climbing are her favorite pursuits.
