Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958, to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die worker as well as a factory worker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone started second grade at just five. Her parents believed her to be academically gifted. Saegertown School located in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the high school she attended. Stone graduated in 1975. She also competed in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to take on a job as a model. In just a few months, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. The next step was Europe where she spent one year living with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone, however, became dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. Stone decided to pursue her career as an actress while she was in Europe. Stone was a 20-year-old in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" a film that received mixed praises.
