Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd took her bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Her next bout was a win with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21.
